Under the expert guidance of our chef, you will visit the historic San Lorenzo central market, where you will select the ingredients that you will then use to prepare a four-course authentic Tuscan meal (starter, first course, second course and dessert). You will meet the butchers, the bakers, and the farmers selling vegetables from their gardens. You will learn how to distinguish the highest quality ingredients and as an added bonus, how to bargain! You will taste local foods & wines.
Learn step by step how to make a satisfying full Italian menu, from the antipasto appetizer to dessert, including the art of making pasta fresca! Learn how to cook pasta such as tagliatelle or pici in this fun hands-on pasta making adventure. After you prepare your pasta, the chef will help you to prepare a tempting sauce to accompany it such as fresh basil pesto, Ragout of wild mushrooms, sweet onion meat, duck ragout and an array of other sauces. The second course is a meat or fish dish with a vegetable contorno , then the tuscan dessert!

Sunset boat cruise on the river Arno
